I wholeheartedly endorse Daniel Waisberg for the WAA Board of Directors. I have had the pleasure of working with Daniel as my co-chair of the Marketing Committee for over a year now. Daniel’s dedication to promoting web analytics globally is unwavering. He has constantly searched for new ways to grow the community, increase member value, and seek additional opportunities to create meaningful dialogue with members and thought leaders in our field.
There are many stories I could tell about Daniel’s work ethic. I will only tell one for sake of brevity. I cannot remember which project we were working on – but Jim Sterne, Daniel, Clare Madden and I were working through the logistics of something. Jim had asked Daniel how he was able to keep going with the bombings near him (and was he okay) to which Daniel – with his usual optimism and wit – replied that he was just fine and that a little shelling would never keep him from serving the WAA.
I know that he will bring the focus and attention to the WAA Board of Directors that is needed; his record at always finding time for the WAA no matter what was going on in his “civilian” life speaks for that. We are also growing globally – Daniel brings an important perspective and thought leadership to the persistant dialogue of where the WAA should grow next.
I will be voting for Daniel this election period, and I hope you will as well. Thanks.
