When my folks were here visiting, I was driving somewhere. My Mom, who was in the backseat, and I were chatting about how cute the kids were. All of a sudden, my Dad (who was in the passenger seat) turned to me and said, “You don’t let your kids watch Lady Gaga videos, do you??”
“Good heavens, no!” I exclaimed, “I actually look forward to the day I can show them one, because I don’t mind them listening to – MOST – of her music. I really LIKE Lady Gaga!”
We were all silent for a while as I’m sure we pondered an image like this one in our heads:
“Heck,” blurted Dad, “I’m not even sure I should watch Lady Gaga videos!” We all laughed.
